About The Position

As an Associate Engineer – QA, you are a key member of the engineering team and are accountable for reducing production defects and strengthening web site reliability. In this role, you will execute and document tests necessary to ensure thriventfunds.com and its associated technical environments meet performance requirements and are free from defects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
0 to 2 years of Application Engineering experience
Understanding of at least one programming language and design technique
Knowledge of at least one Operating System and/or one Application Development Platform
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Knowledge of systems and software design concepts
Knowledge/experience with querying databases for data lookup/update

Nice To Haves

Financial Services industry experience
One year of application engineering experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, test automation or software testing.
Experience with test automation and frameworks
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated regression, integration, API, data validation, and end-to-end testing capabilities.
Participate in the team support rotation and build knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager Cloud and AWS.
Perform Automation, Smoke / Sanity Test, Functional Test, Integration Test and Regression Test and post implementation test as appropriate for delivery cycle.
Follow defect life cycle in appropriate defect tracking tools.
