PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Associate Engineer- Field Operations in our Chicago, Illinois (4025 W Peterson Ave) location. This position requires in office presence of 4 days a week. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Must meet company standards for driving and maintain a valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of existing gas mains and services
- Installation process of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones
- Understanding customer gas supply needs including meter and regulator requirements.
- Response and support in emergency situations
- Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and construction project managers to understand the lifecycle of a project including as-builting.
- Exposure to design, project management, gas operations, and customer service software
- Technical responsibility for planning, developing, interpreting, organizing, coordinating and executing a variety of projects that are complex in nature and require the application of engineering and project management skills.
