About The Position

Manage the planning, development, implementation, and promotion of associate engagement activities and events that enhance the associate experience, increase engagement, and keep associates informed and connected. Develop innovative associate engagement programs and events that elevate the associate experience and drive associate engagement, creating a positive and engaging internal culture. Oversee and directly manage a plurality of associate engagement projects of varying scope, size, and complexity that increase engagement. Responsible for the development of employee initiatives including events, campaigns, and gatherings that align with organizational goals and enhance employee engagement. Work with and manage creative agencies, third-party vendors, and other suppliers, maximizing outside skills and resources while minimizing financial outlays to bring insight and expertise to projects and plans. Monitor and evaluate the financial aspects of strategy and tactics, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment. Responsible for advocating and promoting the Columbia brand promise and messages throughout the company and fostering a culture of living and owning the brand message. Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. Requirements

  • 7-10 years of Marketing, marketing communication, or brand management experience or related experience with an emphasis on strategy development, project management and brand marketing management required.
  • Working knowledge of marketing strategies and banking services and products.
  • Advanced project management and matrix management oversight skills, with the ability to establish processes and project timelines to ensure delivery of sophisticated, multi-faceted marketing communication tactics and initiatives.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to exercise creativity with excellent planning and organizational skills with strong follow through.

Nice To Haves

  • Banking experience is preferred.
  • Event management, planning and execution preferred.
