About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting the company's energy efficiency programs and initiatives. The Associate Energy Engineer will work on projects related to energy conservation, demand response, and renewable energy integration. The role involves analyzing energy data, developing technical solutions, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve energy management goals. Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Energy) or a related field.
Familiarity with energy efficiency concepts and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

Experience with energy modeling software.
Knowledge of utility incentive programs.
Understanding of renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of energy efficiency projects.

Prepare technical reports and presentations on energy performance.
Participate in emergency response assignments as needed.
