About The Position
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate Test Engineer II to independently build, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies with limited support from engineering and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a strong understanding of basic electronic circuitry.
- Ability to work in a 10K cleanroom environment (no bunny suit required).
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and swing shifts (hours between 4:00 PM and 3:30 AM) if needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in component-level troubleshooting on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Responsibilities
- Build and test cameras and printed circuit assemblies in a production area.
- Update documentation as needed to maintain a repeatable manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with engineers to introduce new products into manufacturing.
- Apply a broad technical understanding of printed circuit boards to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, and engineering problem-solving skills in a collaborative style.
- Maintain willingness to work overtime, day or night shifts, and weekends.
- Test and repair electronic assemblies.
- Build and test cameras and other electronic assemblies.
- Perform mechanical assembly work, including building camera enclosures.
- Update procedures when required.
- Assist test fixtures when maintenance or repairs are needed.
