About The Position

Ramboll's Data Center Facilities team is seeking motivated and inquisitive early career or recent graduate Electrical Engineers to join their design team. The role involves working on data center projects throughout all stages of development with a multidisciplinary team. The engineer will develop leading-edge electrical infrastructure solutions for enterprise, hyperscale, and colocation data centers, addressing challenges in AI data centers and grid capacity constraints. Responsibilities include site selection, environmental and regulatory due diligence, master planning, and commissioning.

Requirements

B.S or M.S degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent organization and time management
Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Nice To Haves

Course work, or experience related to power systems, architectural or fire alarm design are preferred.
Familiarity with drawing production tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT is favorable.
Having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) is an advantage

Responsibilities

Preparing basic designs and performs calculations in support of projects, following design, construction and government standards, using design software and drawing tools with supervision
Analyzing reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects.
Gathers and records information to be used for writing specifications and review vendor submittments and drawings.
Visits job sites to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical engineering skills.
Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
Prepares and presents routine technical reports.
