About The Position

This role focuses on Electrical Engineering, specifically within RF Engineering. The Associate Electrical Engineer will be responsible for determining design approaches and parameters, performing cascade analysis for feasibility, and utilizing modeling tools for testing and evaluation. They will select components, conduct simulations, present design reviews, and analyze hardware designs using test equipment. The role also involves RF/Microwave Device testing and evaluation, including s-parameter and large signal load pull characterization, as well as modulated signal measurements. Familiarity with common commercial RF design and analysis tools is essential.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
  • Familiarity with common commercial RF design and analysis tools (i.e. ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Ability to determine design approaches and parameters
  • Ability to analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Ability to analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results

Responsibilities

  • Determine design approaches and parameters
  • Perform Cascade analysis to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
  • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
  • Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers
  • Use test equipment to analyze/verify hardware designs
  • RF/Microwave Device testing and evaluation including s-parameter, large signal load pull characterization as well as modulated signal measurements
  • Design and analyze RF circuits and systems using common commercial RF design and analysis tools
