About The Position

The Associate, Document Specialist /Document Specialist 2 will produce customer’s projects according to company standards of quality and output by preparing digital files for print production and/or digital output to customer, copying, assembling, binding, prepping, scanning and indexing digital documents. They are also responsible for inspecting their own and other team member’s work to ensure that projects are completed to client job specification while meeting deadlines at the lowest possible production cost and labor effort.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years related experience in copy/print/scan production environment
  • Previous experience working in a team environment required
  • Intermediate computer skills including Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to interpret and execute written and/or verbal job specifications
  • Must be able to work in a team environment by maintaining positive, productive relationships with co-workers, management, sales and production departments.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing situations and be flexible with regards to scheduling.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive work by continuously executing different tasks according to set procedures, sequence or pace while maintaining quality and output standards.
  • Evident physical effort is required to move objects up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves customer satisfaction by consistently prepping, scanning, inspecting, compiling, and assembling projects accurately in a timely manner.
  • Prepares digital files for print production with attention to detail, efficiency and labor effort.
  • High proficiency in scanning, indexing and preparing final digital output to clients
  • Meets deadlines by working at a quick and steady pace while maintaining quality/error free work.
  • Achieves Time Productive statistics by meeting standards established by the facility.
  • Meets company production standards by achieving the Impressions per Hour (IPH) rate in accordance with standards established.
  • Maintains optimal machine performance by correcting simple machine problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, etc.) and having a working knowledge of machine codes to report in the event of equipment failure.
  • Completes all paperwork in a timely, accurate and legible manner by reading and writing in English.
  • Troubleshoots problems by communicating effectively and promptly to manager.
  • Prevents errors by maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work environment
  • Other duties as required by Manager
