The WW Medical Scientific Learning Team plays a critical role in ensuring that healthcare providers are educated on the appropriate use of our medicines and have the information they need to improve outcomes for their patients. We develop strategies, tools, and guidance to empower Home Office Medical (HOM) and Field Medical (FM) teams across the globe to perform effectively and compliantly, ensuring high quality scientific exchange with the healthcare community. The AD, US Scientific Learning Lead for Neuropsychiatry, Immunology is accountable for planning, developing, implementing, facilitating, and assessing ongoing scientific (and skills pull through) training for the BMS medical Neuropsychiatry portfolio as well as ensuring they are equipped to support priority clinical trials in the US. The role will be focused strongly on US FM and will be responsible for the coordination of scientific onboarding and continuing medical education. The AD position reports to the Director, CV & Immunology/Neuroscience, WW Medical Scientific Learning team. The US Scientific Learning Lead (sometimes referred to as US Medical Trainer) embodies our medical mission by supporting FM and HOM personnel in becoming the trusted partner of choice to a broad set of stakeholders, driving scientific exchange and collection of timely insights that can create measurable medical impact on patient outcomes, ultimately advancing science and enhancing patient access to our medicines. This position is a field-based role. The primary remit of the US Scientific Learning Lead is to have a thorough view of the training needs of the FM and HOM teams with an eye towards collaborating with WW Medical Scientific Learning and WW Commercialization Learning teams to share, co-create, and leverage existing content, where applicable. He/she/they will spend much of his/her/their time collaborating with US FM, HOM stakeholders, and the WW Medical Scientific Learning team to construct and execute training plans aligned with US medical matrix teams. The US Scientific Learning Lead may be asked to spend a portion of his/her/their time in the field with FM team members identifying training gaps, coaching/assessing FM colleague performance and implementing training plans and strategies.
