Job Description: Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy: Lead and develop the Asset Management Technology team, driving digital transformation initiatives that support the strategic goals of Sun Life. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define and execute a roadmap for technology solutions in asset management. Solution Delivery : Oversee the design, development, and deployment of solutions that streamline business operations within the asset management domain. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Innovation and Transformation : Champion the adoption of new technologies, including RPA, AI, and cloud solutions, to improve process efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance value for business partners. Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners, effectively communicating project goals, status updates, and performance metrics. Team Development : Mentor and guide a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages learning and development. Lead efforts to enhance team capabilities and support career growth. Governance and Compliance : Ensure adherence to Sun Life’s governance policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, with a focus on security, data privacy, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with a strong background in asset management or financial services technology.
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects and deploying solutions at scale.
  • Proficiency in cloud architecture (GCP, AWS), digital transformation, RPA, AI, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
  • Knowledge of financial systems and asset management platforms is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • GCP Certified Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
