What you’ll do: Ensure the reliability of AT&T's Network Operations Control Plane infrastructure that supports critical applications and services. Manage a 24/7 team of technical professionals that perform functions involved in the development and integrity of new applications or systems or the support and maintenance of existing applications or systems. Performs configuration management, change management, performance management and software development lifecycle process. May help lead projects, evaluate technology and architecture design, develop business cases and technical requirements, and quantify business needs. Monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis, fault resolution, mitigation, and remediation. Collaborate across multiple organizations, vendors, internal and external technical teams. This includes relationship management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiencies and resiliency. Join outages, provide direction, leadership communication, and technical write ups. Plan maintenance activities, provide strategic input for projects, and oversee work to ensure we meet our commitments. Coordinate with all stakeholders. Manage escalations and resolve complex issues. Manage team workloads, review alarming and ticketing, and look for automation opportunities. Actively audit elements for compliance and address vulnerabilities. Direct, mentor, and develop technical team members including any hiring, firing, disciplinary action, and pay decisions. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for supporting an environment that consists of approximately 2,300 network and server devices. These devices support our Control Plane infrastructure which includes, but is not limited to DNS, DHCP, Radius, LDAP, Network, and Operating System administration and engineering. This role ensures operational stability through lifecycle administration and escalation support for both corporate and consumer customers. Additionally, you will oversee, manage, and direct the work of 10 technical Principal and Senior Network engineers.
