What you’ll do: Network Security: Design, implement, and maintain network security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, (IDS/IPS), and secure VPNs. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to actual threats. Conduct regular network security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses. Security Systems Design and Improvement: Design, implement, and maintain security architectures and tools for applications/systems/network. Monitor for vulnerabilities and stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies. Policy Development, Compliance and Reporting: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies while ensuring adherence to relevant laws, industry standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies. Prepare and present reports on the security posture of technology applications/systems/network. Risk Management and Incident Response: Continuously assess security risks, respond to breaches, and manage incidents to mitigate damage. Collaboration, Training and Consultation: Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including IT, legal, vendors, and clients, to integrate security measures. Provide expert advice on security issues related to applications/systems/network and collaborate on the development and implementation of comprehensive security architectures. Educate employees on security best practices and provide support, including training and resource management. As an Associate Director-Technology II, you will lead and supervise a team of professionals who review and analyze security requirements, develop and implement plans to protect technology applications/systems/network, administer security systems to support daily operations, and lead initiatives to mitigate overall security risks in compliance with industry standards. Oversee operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Will be responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
