Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building and delivering high-volume Java-based applications, with deep expertise in Java, Spring, and REST.
  • 8+ years of experience architecting and designing microservices-based systems; 2+ years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • 6+ years of proven leadership, managing and mentoring software engineering teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic mindset with experience evaluating and recommending new technologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency with modern CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Maven.
  • Strong background in performance tuning, system deployment, and production support.
  • Hands-on experience with unit and functional testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-volume, mission-critical applications using Java, Spring, and REST.
  • Architect and implement systems leveraging microservices and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Manage, coach, and mentor a dynamic team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Drive key initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery while aligning with business strategy and technical direction.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept and planning to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to identify requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and performance through continuous improvement and rigorous testing.
  • Partner with external vendors and consultants as needed to augment project delivery and innovation.
