Requirements

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Systems Architects, Software Developer, Member Technical Staff Engineer, or in a related/similar position.
8 years involving Developing Android and Linux OS
8 years involving Java, Kotlin, C++, C, Python, JavaScript
8 years involving Subject Matter Expert with Telecommunication and device
8 years involving Device to Network connectivity SME
8 years involving LTE / 5G networks
8 years involving Cloud
8 years involving Performing Technical leadership & Strategy

Responsibilities

Contribute, Collaborate and Manage a team of Subject matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and maintain solutions for LTE & 5G mobile devices.
Participate and contribute to the mobile industry standards such as GSMA, 3GPP or others.
Manage, develop and actively run Verizon technical partnership program with Google/Android, KaiOS, ChromeOS, MSFT Windows & other embedded operating systems providers.
Develop and maintain software platforms based on Android and Linux operating systems for Verizon branded devices.
Create and customize open-source images for different hardware platforms.
Utilize OS Project tools to build custom OS distributions for embedded systems.
Write, debug, and optimize C code for system-level applications and drivers.
Integrate and validate new features on development boards and EVKs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
Perform thorough testing and validation of software to ensure high reliability and performance.
Document software designs, implementation details, and usage instructions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues.
