Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Systems Architects, Software Developer, Member Technical Staff Engineer, or in a related/similar position.
  • 8 years involving Developing Android and Linux OS
  • 8 years involving Java, Kotlin, C++, C, Python, JavaScript
  • 8 years involving Subject Matter Expert with Telecommunication and device
  • 8 years involving Device to Network connectivity SME
  • 8 years involving LTE / 5G networks
  • 8 years involving Cloud
  • 8 years involving Performing Technical leadership & Strategy

Responsibilities

  • Contribute, Collaborate and Manage a team of Subject matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and maintain solutions for LTE & 5G mobile devices.
  • Participate and contribute to the mobile industry standards such as GSMA, 3GPP or others.
  • Manage, develop and actively run Verizon technical partnership program with Google/Android, KaiOS, ChromeOS, MSFT Windows & other embedded operating systems providers.
  • Develop and maintain software platforms based on Android and Linux operating systems for Verizon branded devices.
  • Create and customize open-source images for different hardware platforms.
  • Utilize OS Project tools to build custom OS distributions for embedded systems.
  • Write, debug, and optimize C code for system-level applications and drivers.
  • Integrate and validate new features on development boards and EVKs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of software to ensure high reliability and performance.
  • Document software designs, implementation details, and usage instructions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues.
