Reporting to the Director, Office of Student Engagement the Associate Director, Student Engagement, leads student engagement initiatives across the MBA programs portfolio for the Rotman School of Management. The Associate Director develops, implements, manages, and evaluates student engagement initiatives that support belonging, leadership development and community integration throughout the MBA journey. They will lead the design and delivery of dynamic and high impact engagement programs, activities, and events for all MBA students incorporating best practices and emphasizing proactive and inclusive interventions that support current students. They are responsible for ensuring that all activities and initiatives operate efficiently, effectively, and in a manner that is consistent with the policies, objectives, and goals of the Rotman School of Management and the University of Toronto. The Associate Director will develop strong working relationships with academic and co-curricular partners at the Rotman School of Management and across the University of Toronto to ensure the effective delivery and evaluation of student engagement activities for MBA students. They will also assist the Director with the development of the Office of Student Engagement strategy, annual plans and reports, operation, and administration. The Associate Director has managerial responsibility for their direct reports and manages all functions related to human resources including assignment of work, performance management, professional development and training, compliance of collective agreements, and dispute resolution.
