This role is for an Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives & Project Management, a hybrid position based in Richmond, Virginia, with relocation assistance available. The role is within Thermo Fisher Scientific's PPD® Laboratory Services team, which focuses on improving patient health through scientific expertise in clinical trials. The Associate Director Product Owner provides leadership and management for staff and/or managers within the department to drive software platforms to meet company needs. This individual is accountable for staff performance and development, departmental programming, and customer service. They collaborate across departments and externally to ensure business solutions differentiate PPD's service offerings and contribute to governance processes to optimize resource allocation for maximum value. The team has successfully supported the top 50 pharmaceutical companies and more than 750 biotechs, spanning 2,700 clinical trials across 100+ countries in the last 5 years.
