About The Position

We are seeking a high-impact, intellectually curious leader to join our team as Director of Strategic Finance & Business Operations. This role is designed for a generalist problem solver—someone who thrives in ambiguity and can bring structure, insight, and action to complex, cross-functional challenges. You will operate as a force multiplier for the business, working across corporate functions and leadership to evaluate investments, improve decision-making, and drive operational effectiveness. This is not a traditional FP&A role—it’s about figuring out what matters and making it better.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, consulting, business operations, or similar
  • Proven ability to operate in unstructured environments and drive outcomes
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, paired with business judgment
  • Ability to go from blank page → structured thinking → executive-ready recommendation
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • High ownership, with a fast-paced entrepreneurial approach

Responsibilities

  • Own Ambiguous, High-Impact Problems: Lead analysis and decision support for loosely defined, high-priority business questions. Frame problems, gather imperfect data, and drive to clear, actionable recommendations. Act as a “go-to” partner for high priority projects. Evaluate cost structures with a focus on ROI, efficiency, and strategic alignment. Support budgeting and forecasting—but with an emphasis on decision-making, not reporting.
  • Executive Decision Support: Build business cases, scenario analyses, and “what if” models for senior leadership. Distill complex topics into clear insights and recommendations. Challenge assumptions and elevate the quality of decision-making.
  • Build Structure Without Bureaucracy: Create simple, scalable frameworks where none exist. Improve how the company evaluates spend and operational performance. Balance rigor with speed—focus on what actually drives decisions.

Benefits

  • medical, prescription, dental, vision, hearing, accident, hospital indemnity, and life insurances
  • Up to 4% matching 401(k)
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (10% share discount)
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Paid time off (15 days’ vacation per year, plus 4 personal days, prorated based on start date)
  • Paid sick leave as determined by state or local ordinance (prorated based on start date)
  • Paid holidays (7 days per year, based on start date)
  • Paid volunteer time (3 days per year, prorated based on start date)
