About The Position

This role coordinates fundraising events and campaigns, develops and maintains relationships with donors and sponsors, prepares reports on foundation activities and outcomes, and collaborates with team members to achieve fundraising goals. The position ensures compliance with grant requirements and deadlines. The role requires occasional evenings and weekends and involves occasional driving for work purposes, with specific hospital policies regarding motor vehicle background checks, insurance eligibility, and driving qualifications that must be maintained.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, required.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Must be equally comfortable with public speaking and one-on-one communication.
Demonstrated personal initiative, devotion to hospital mission and on-going personal education and development.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to be a team player and display diplomacy/political savvy.
Ability to be entrusted with personal and confidential information and make ethical decisions.
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy.
Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
