This position is responsible for developing, producing, and submitting proposals that adhere to strict timelines and quality standards. The position is also responsible for identifying RFPs that are consistent with HSAG’s lines of work, including Medicaid, Medicare, and private consulting projects. The Associate Director, RFP will direct and manage the RFP process to maintain current contracts up for renewal and support the development of new business aligned with HSAG’s strategic initiatives. They will ensure all key RFP and proposal milestones and timelines are met, that the proposal is responsive to the requirements set out in the RFP, and that the response is produced in a timely manner. This role involves analyzing RFPs, developing timelines and templates, coordinating writing and editing from subject matter experts, conducting compliance reviews, writing and editing various proposal sections, preparing reference documents, compiling all proposal documents for submission, and conducting final reviews. The position also involves identifying RFPs that align with HSAG’s lines of business, evaluating and summarizing opportunities, and representing HSAG professionally. Additional tasks include being available throughout all phases of the RFP response process and working to continually improve the RFP Department’s process for producing quality RFPs efficiently and responsively. This includes organizing resource materials, maintaining a compendium of HSAG’s expertise, maintaining databases, and composing/updating staff resumes and bios. Project deadlines may necessitate occasional extended work hours.
