The Regulatory Research Associates (RRA) team delivers authoritative research, data, and analysis on state-level utility regulation and utility financial performance across the U.S. energy sector. Our work helps investors, utilities, policymakers, and other industry participants evaluate regulatory risk, understand evolving market and policy developments, and identify emerging trends shaping the future of energy. Through proprietary datasets, comparative regulatory assessments, and industry-leading research, we provide insights that support critical business and investment decisions. As an Associate Director, you will serve as a key contributor to RRA's research and analytical capabilities, leading the evaluation of complex regulatory, legislative, and market developments affecting electric and natural gas utilities, and representing RRA in client and stakeholder engagements. Leveraging proprietary datasets, advanced analytical methods, and AI-enabled technologies, you will develop insights that help clients assess regulatory risk and understand emerging industry trends. You will also contribute to the evolution of research processes and analytical tools, helping enhance the efficiency, depth, and impact of RRA's industry-leading research. This role supports S&P Global's vision of the "Research of the Future," where innovation, technology, and domain expertise combine to deliver increasingly powerful insights for clients.
