About The Position

Fingerpaint Marketing is seeking an Associate Director of Program Management to manage training, strategic business planning for their book of business, and staff road map development. This role involves driving complex project discussions, influencing teams and clients, and ensuring the financial health and quality of work across brands. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative business partner, proficient in problem-solving, and skilled in optimizing team services and resources. This position also involves mentoring direct reports, contributing to agency initiatives, and participating in new business development.

Requirements

  • 9-10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient and innovative problem-solver.
  • Mastery of Ziflow, Workamajig; MS Office Suite (advanced-level Excel).
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions, usability, and data integration fulfillment.
  • Skilled at influencing and persuading internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to drive difficult or complex project discussions with client and teams, and facilitate resolution.
  • Experience partnering with account and finance leads for forecasting.
  • Experience monitoring financial health of a book of business.
  • Experience with quality control of SOWs.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert in client interactions.
  • Experience collaborating with PM department leads, interagency resource managers, and creative/account leads.
  • Experience providing mentorship, training, and skill development to direct reports.
  • Experience conducting performance reviews and goal road-mapping.

Responsibilities

  • Manage training, strategic business planning for book of business, and staff road map development.

  • Monitor financial health of book of business, including run rate.
  • Collaborate with resourcing/department leads to ensure the team is staffed to hit forecast.
  • Evaluate and act on utilization trends for direct reports.
  • Quality control brand SOWs before sending to finance for review.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in client interactions (strategic, complex, or rare project types).
  • Collaborate with PM department lead on agency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with interagency resource managers.
  • Partner with creative and account leads to ensure success and financial health of brands.
  • Collaborate with PM department lead to assess, align, and optimize processes within the agency.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and skill development to direct reports.
  • Collaborate on content and delivery for PM meetings.
  • Share knowledge and provide learning opportunities across brands.
  • Collaborate with PM department lead on departmental career development.
  • Conduct biannual reviews and goal road-mapping; mentor direct reports through the process.
  • Foster good team culture, reinforcing and encouraging tenets of the agency.
  • Participate in new business pitches, whether creating content or developing budgets or timelines.
  • Attend Q&A sessions with potential new clients.
  • Act as a mentor for multichannel best practice development.
  • Act as a mentor for requirements assessment, co-creation.
