This role is responsible for maintaining alignment with corporate process safety goals, supporting personnel with process safety requirements, and driving resolution of high-risk issues with urgency and integrity. The Associate Director champions and promotes a strong process safety culture, prepares and delivers presentations, and tracks process safety indicators. They identify improvement opportunities, recommend new tools and work processes, and ensure process safety deliverables are integrated into project execution and management of change. The role also involves ensuring adequate Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment procedures are in place, leading incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses, and participating in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews and Management of Change procedures. The Associate Director manages the LG&E PSM/RMP Assessment program and ensures process safety training is developed and maintained.
