About The Position

For more than 25 years, Corcept has been singularly focused on the science of cortisol, a powerful hormone that when unregulated, can play a role in a broad range of diseases. The Associate Director, Pipeline and Portfolio Market Planning is accountable for developing product strategies across Corcept’s oncology portfolio. This individual will guide indication selection and sequencing, competitive landscape assessments, target product profiles (TPPs), product proposition, and long-range financial forecasting to inform program-level decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program-level strategy initiatives to define product vision, optimize lifecycle value, and drive business impact
  • Provide integrated physician, patient, and payer perspective in clinical strategy and new product planning initiatives
  • Own the design, implementation, and continuous refinement of competitive intelligence and market analysis frameworks that proactively inform program, investment, and governance decisions
  • Support cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical, Development, and Research, to ensure alignment and strategic continuity across the product lifecycle
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate long-range revenue forecasts and valuation models to support program planning and resource allocation
  • Synthesize market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data sources into clear, actionable insights to guide cross-functional and leadership decision-making
  • Lead asset assessments and contribute to due diligence for potential business development opportunities
  • Manage ad hoc strategic projects, including global expansion initiatives in partnership with Emerging Markets team
  • Model Corcept’s key principles: collaborating effectively, embracing possibilities, following the data, and leading by doing

Benefits

  • The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $215,300 - $253,200
