The Associate Director, Operations is NCJW’s operational anchor — ensuring that the systems, processes, spaces, and logistics that power our mission run seamlessly every day. This role drives efficiency, coordination, and structure across the organization, managing everything from technology and office systems to logistics for major meetings and events. Blending strategic insight with hands-on execution, the Associate Director will design and implement systems that help our staff and board work smarter, streamline project execution in collaboration with teams, and ensure NCJW’s operations reflect our values of equity, excellence, and care. The ideal candidate is a process-oriented leader who loves solving problems while designing order out of complexity — someone who sees logistics as mission-critical infrastructure and approaches operational work as a way to empower staff and strengthen organizational impact. The Associate Director reports to the Director of People and Culture. This position is based in Washington, DC, with a hybrid-schedule including 2-3 core in-office days per week.
