About The Position

Quanta Services is seeking an Associate Director to join the leadership team of the OneStream Center of Excellence (CoE). This role reports to the Director and owns the Program Management function, including roadmap and product strategy, demand intake and prioritization, release strategy, requirements and business analysis, adoption metrics, change management, and acquisition onboarding. The Associate Director will also handle delegated Director responsibilities such as operational performance oversight, cross-functional escalation, and steering-committee operations. This is a strategic and operational leadership role where the Associate Director partners with the Director to shape the CoE’s multi-year platform strategy, represents the CoE in cross-functional planning, and serves as a deputy and succession candidate for the Director. The role has elevated cross-functional coordination authority but does not have line-management authority over the Senior Managers. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and accounting judgment combined with program or product leadership experience in a corporate performance management (CPM) or similar systems environment. Direct OneStream experience or experience leading a OneStream Center of Excellence is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, financial systems, or program/product leadership.
  • Experience leading teams or programs within a large or multinational organization.
  • CPA strongly preferred; demonstrated CPA-level financial and controls judgment is expected.
  • Experience with a Corporate Performance Management (CPM) or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, BPC, Anaplan) preferred.
  • Experience with corporate consolidations, intercompany accounting, FP&A, or financial-systems governance is highly valued.
  • Strong program/product management skills: roadmap development, demand management, release planning, and requirements/business analysis.
  • Ability to operate as a credible deputy to senior leadership, exercising elevated cross-functional coordination without formal line authority.
  • Strategic thinker and executive-level communicator.
  • Change management and stakeholder communication skills across Finance, IT, and business units.
  • Familiarity with SOX-compliant control environments and segregation-of-duties principles.
  • Vendor and contract capability-assessment experience.
  • High proficiency in Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) a plus.
  • Direct OneStream experience — or experience within a OneStream (or comparable CPM) Center of Excellence — is a strong preference rather than a requirement.
  • Familiarity with SQL or reporting/analytics tools a plus.
  • Direct OneStream experience, or experience building, staffing, or leading a OneStream (or comparable CPM) Center of Excellence — a strong preference for this role.
  • OneStream or equivalent CPM/EPM certification.
  • Experience in a large-sized, multi-entity, or acquisition-oriented organization (multi-entity consolidation experience is a plus).
  • Experience serving as a deputy, second-in-command, or succession candidate to a director-level leader.
  • Prior exposure to steering-committee governance, charter development, and change-advisory-board (CAB) or comparable change-governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and maintain the OneStream platform roadmap and product strategy.
  • Own demand intake and prioritization governance.
  • Own release strategy and sequencing across interdependent workstreams.
  • Lead requirements management and business analysis.
  • Define and report product performance and adoption metrics.
  • Assess vendor capabilities and market/tooling options.
  • Own enterprise change management and communications tied to each enhancement wave.
  • Own the acquisition-onboarding program.
  • Serve as the first-level cross-functional escalation and coordination point across Operations and Technical.
  • Support the Director’s operational performance oversight and run steering-committee cadence and secretariat operations.
  • Contribute controls and risk coordination support to the Director’s SOX, internal-controls, and business-continuity accountabilities.
  • Partner with the Director on strategic planning, budget and business-case development, and organizational design discussions.
  • Deputize for the Director on delegated duties and represent the CoE in cross-functional strategic planning forums.
