About The Position

Salamander Resort & Spa, a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond-rated resort in Middleburg, VA, is seeking an Associate Director of Sales (ADOS) to contribute to the hotel's sales strategy. This role involves working with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop a high-performing team, achieve revenue targets, and ensure excellent guest experiences. The resort is located in Virginia's horse and wine country and boasts Forbes Triple Five-Star ratings for accommodations, spa, and dining, along with an AAA Five Diamond rating.

Requirements

5-7 years of sales leadership experience in luxury hotel or resort operations.
Proven ability in sales strategy, client relationship management, and revenue maximization.
Proficient in sales software (Delphi, Social Tables, SMS, Microsoft Office).

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and train a sales team while maintaining and expanding key accounts.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue across all areas of the resort.
Proactively solicit new business and manage P&L, forecasts, and budgets.
Collaborate with marketing to support group and catering sales initiatives.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring top-tier guest satisfaction.
Travel to industry events and represent Salamander Middleburg through property tours and sales presentations.
Analyze data and market trends to make strategic recommendations.
