The Campaign Finance Board (CFB) is a nonpartisan, independent city agency dedicated to making local democracy more open, transparent, and equitable by empowering New Yorkers' participation in elections. The agency facilitates voter engagement through NYC Votes, provides candidate information via the Voter Guide, supports small-dollar contributions through a public matching funds program, and enhances transparency by disclosing campaign finance information. The Strategy, Products, and Innovation (SPI) division is responsible for the agency's future planning, including long-term strategy, research, policy implementation, product development, and technology modernization. Within SPI, the Strategy & Policy department focuses on expanding and strengthening democracy through impact evaluation, policy development, intergovernmental relations, and legislative analysis. This department also produces research reports and manages relationships with policymakers. The Associate Director of Policy Implementation will lead the Policy Implementation team, translating policy decisions into operational changes and overseeing the full lifecycle of policy development, from problem identification to monitoring and evaluation. This role involves establishing processes, tools, and governance for agencywide policy development and implementation, managing both public policy related to campaign finance and internal agency policies, and strengthening the agency's capacity for evidence-based decision-making.
