The Associate Director of Pharmacy assists the Pharmacy Director in providing administrative and managerial leadership for the planning, monitoring, and oversight of pharmacy operations. This includes the implementation and assessment of pharmacy operational and administrative services. The Associate Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the direct implementation and evaluation of pharmacy operations and services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care and services to Elk Ridge patients. In the absence of the Pharmacy Director, this role assumes responsibility for pharmacy operations. The Associate Director of Pharmacy ensures that the pharmacy department provides consistent and optimal pharmaceutical patient care and services that comply with all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements. They are accountable for the direct managerial oversight and implementation of services and activities, assuring effective communications, human resource management, operations workflow coordination, as well as training and staff development. As a licensed Pharmacist, the Associate Director of Pharmacy is responsible for fulfilling all of the essential functions, responsibilities, and authority of a Pharmacist.
