About The Position

This position under the supervision of the Controller assists in making certain that all grants and/or contracts managed by Avenue 360 are meeting all related requirements. The Associate Director of Grants and Supply Chain provides oversight to ensure the seamless, integrated coordination among departments for the lifecycle of grants, from project development through award, implementation, reporting, and invoicing. They oversee and manage grants to ensure compliance with reporting and legal requirements, fulfillment of contractual and budget obligations, and provide interface with contracting entities and provide technical assistance to staff regarding contract program requirements. This role supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the grants staff, including monthly grant billing and compliance, budget modifications, quarterly and annual fiscal reporting, grant budgets GL adjustments, AR transactions, purchasing, and salary allocation updates. The Associate Director makes and implements recommendations to improve grant management processes and procedures, exercises initiative and sound judgment, and maintains effective communication with staff responsible for project elements to establish and ensure the flow of information among departments to achieve project success and full monetization of contract. They collaborate with pertinent administrative and program staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure grant/contract compliance and that effective data collection and reporting mechanisms are in place. This role serves as an ongoing liaison for compliance to work collaboratively with Avenue360 management team to ensure ongoing stewardship of these relationships. The Associate Director may serve as key contact on federal community health center grant (FQHC HRSA Section 330 Grant), including staying current on grant requirements, maintaining contact with the federal project officer when necessary, coordinating and making required submissions in the online HRSA portal (EHB - Electronic Hand Book) as required. They maintain a solid understanding of FQHC, FTCA, CDBG and other designated governmental program requirements and familiarity with information resources for these programs. The Associate Director prepares and submits grant and contract reports as assigned and according to contractual obligations as requested by supervisor. They are responsible for implementation, management and optimal utilization of Granttracker+ system for tracking and managing contracts, deliverables, and other renewing business documents. This role maintains accurate and complete records of all activities associated with each grant or other related business items, with data entry support from other development team members. They coordinate with appropriate staff, participate in monitoring visits, audits and related activities, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • Minimum of three years experience with grants management.
