About The Position

The Arc Erie County NY is looking for a strategic relationship builder and business developer to help expand employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities across Western New York. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and growing innovative programs that make a real impact. You’ll help drive the growth of employment-focused ventures including landscaping, janitorial services, group employment programs, and new micro-business initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree + 2 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and partnerships simultaneously
• Strategic thinking and the ability to identify growth opportunities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Valid NYS Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen partnerships with local businesses, municipalities, and community organizations
• Identify and pursue new contract and business opportunities

• Track outreach efforts, partnerships, and program outcomes to ensure continued growth
• Represent The Arc Erie County at networking events and community engagement opportunities
