The IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for Commercial and Medical functions at Foundation Medicine serves as the primary strategic interface between Information Technology and key business stakeholders across Commercial (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations) and Medical (e.g., Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Real-World Evidence). The BRM acts as a strategic advisor and thought partner, providing guidance on how technology - including CRM platforms, marketing technology stacks, and digital customer engagement tools - can enable more effective commercial execution and medical engagement. The role requires documenting, maintaining, and continuously evolving multi-year capability roadmaps across Commercial and Medical domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data strategies, and regulatory considerations. The BRM also provides thought leadership on emerging trends, such as omnichannel engagement, personalized medicine insights, and advanced analytics, helping the business proactively leverage innovation to remain competitive. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce Health Cloud, Veeva CRM), marketing technologies (e.g., marketing automation platforms, content management systems, websites), and enterprise data & analytics solutions. They demonstrate strong business acumen in commercial and medical processes, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
