About The Position

Church & Dwight is seeking an Associate Director, Global Supply Chain Network Operations / Supply Chain Resiliency to join their team. This role is responsible for defining and driving global network strategy, long-term capacity planning, sourcing strategy, and supply chain resiliency across the enterprise. The Associate Director will lead enterprise-level analyses and recommendations that inform strategic, capital, and network investment decisions while supporting long-term business growth and operational excellence. The Associate Director, Global Supply Chain Network Operations will serve as a senior strategic leader and integrator across Global Supply Chain, R&D, SBUs, Finance, Quality, and Innovation. This individual will lead advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses to optimize network performance, capacity, cost, and risk, enabling informed decision-making related to network design, capital allocation, make-vs-buy strategies, and portfolio optimization. This role plays a critical part in translating Commercial strategy into end-to-end supply chain execution, supporting innovation, new product launches, and long-term growth objectives. The Associate Director will also act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, presenting strategic recommendations and leading highly sensitive and confidential supply chain initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in CPG supply chain, network strategy, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, or related disciplines.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale initiatives with significant capital investment, operational complexity, and risk exposure.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and sustain transformation in complex, global environments.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence and align senior leaders.
  • Strong track record of building senior-level partnerships and driving strategy through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Make enterprise-level decisions regarding network design, capital investments, and make-vs-buy strategies, balancing growth, cost, service, and financial objectives.
  • Lead make-vs-buy analyses, operational costing, and capital justification efforts in partnership with Finance to evaluate investment opportunities and production impacts.
  • Translate Commercial strategy into end-to-end supply chain execution, partnering with SBUs and Commercial teams to enable innovation, portfolio optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Own global capacity and network strategy across assigned categories, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and demand forecasts.
  • Lead the semi-annual global capacity review process, assessing performance, risk, and capability across internal manufacturing, contract manufacturers, and suppliers; present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Define and maintain sourcing, capacity, and network roadmaps to support capital planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Direct cross-functional strategic initiatives impacting network design, footprint optimization, cost structure, and service performance; establish governance, success metrics, and executive communications.
  • Lead portfolio optimization efforts to reduce complexity, improve agility, and drive cost, service, and working capital efficiency.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks and vulnerabilities across supply chain operations, including suppliers, manufacturing, and logistics networks.
  • Lead sensitive and confidential sourcing and manufacturing assessments, delivering clear, data-driven recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, regularly presenting to executive stakeholders to drive alignment and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure successful transition of strategic initiatives into sustainable operational capabilities through governance, performance management, and process integration.
  • Provide oversight of portfolio and initiative management, including prioritization, risk mitigation, contingency planning, and performance tracking.
  • Champion continuous improvement by conducting post-implementation reviews and embedding learnings into future strategies.
  • Oversee supply chain resiliency strategy, including business continuity planning, risk mitigation, and crisis management preparedness.
  • Supervise and support the Business Continuity function to ensure proactive identification of risks, development of mitigation plans, and execution of resiliency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to test and strengthen business continuity plans and supplier risk management strategies.
