The Associate Director, Global Financial Crimes Compliance Enterprise Threat Mitigation plays a critical role in safeguarding S&P Global by supporting the centralized review, investigation, escalation, and disposition of transaction screening and third-party screening alerts. The role is responsible for helping ensure that potential sanctions, AML, anti-bribery and corruption, and due diligence risks involving clients, vendors, event attendees, and other third parties are identified, assessed, and mitigated through timely, well-documented, and risk-based decision-making. This role requires a combination of sanctions and financial crimes compliance expertise, technical knowledge of screening systems and workflows, strong analytical judgment, and a practical understanding of S&P Global’s businesses. The Associate Director will work closely with Compliance, Legal, Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders across regions to enhance screening effectiveness, improve alert management processes, and support a globally consistent approach to financial crimes risk mitigation.
