Raytheon Finance is hiring for the Naval Air Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) Financial Planning and Analysis Associate Director. This role reports to the Naval Air Missiles CFO and is responsible for financial planning & analysis of approximately $1.6 billion/year in annual revenue, investment budgets (IRAD, NBI, CAPEX, expense), and leading the portfolio's core financial processes including annual plans, quarterly and monthly forecasts, weekly outlooks, as well as Naval Power Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and Raytheon/RTX requests. The position is involved in all aspects of the business, including evaluating, analyzing, and reporting Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash, Balance Sheet management (including inventories and CFRs), and all discretionary spending (including IR&D, New Business Investment, Capital, Overhead, and Pooled labor). This is a high-visibility role that interfaces regularly with senior Raytheon leadership and speaks for the Naval Air Missiles CFO in their absence. The Associate Director will also lead and be responsible for the development of a high-performing Financial Planning and Analysis team. This position is currently designated as Onsite, requiring the successful candidate to work onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations: McKinney TX, Aurora, CO, Andover, MA, Marlborough, MA, or Tucson AZ.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Prior experience in an FP&A role
  • Management experience leading / managing employees
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams
  • Experience developing annual / strategic financial and investment plans, driving rigorous forecasting and variance process, and developing mitigation strategies to achieve financial results
  • Ability to collaborate with senior members of the LT across various Functions and Product Areas for plan / forecast / Action item closure
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible in a changing business environment and highly responsive to Corporation / Business Unit requested analysis, briefings, and data calls
