About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented team member to serve as Associate Director, Field Reimbursement Management (FRM). This role will report into the Director of Field Reimbursement Management and support Patient Access field operations for Otsuka’s CNS Brands. This role will own and drive the day-to-day operations, analytics, and performance management of the Patient Access teams supporting the CNS franchise, and other components of the CNS support as needed. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence, optimize field team effectiveness, and provide data-driven insights that enhance patient access and affordability outcomes for our specialty products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 8 + years of experience in patient access or field reimbursement operations
  • Strong background in reimbursement processes related to injectable medications, payer policies, and healthcare data analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in operational leadership, performance management, and compliance-driven execution.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the performance and effectiveness of Patient Access field operations across the CNS franchise, with accountability for access, affordability, and execution outcomes.
  • Define and evolve KPI frameworks tied to business outcomes, ensuring alignment with brand and access strategies.
  • Lead the design and continuous evolution of tools, insights, and engagement models to enhance field effectiveness and address access barriers.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to Managed Markets, Sales, Brand, and vendor to align field execution with broader access and affordability strategies.
  • Provide oversight and accountability for teams, ensuring consistent quality across the field.
  • Diagnose systemic access and operational gaps across field, payer, and hub interfaces, and lead cross-functional solutions to improve patient access outcomes.
  • Provide feedback to vended team leaders, building a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and patient-centric service.
