About The Position

The Associate Director, Field Medical Science Liaisons will contribute to the achievement of Telix’s strategic goals through the leadership, oversight, management, and development of the Field MSL team. This role is responsible for driving high-quality scientific exchange, actionable medical insight generation, clinical trial and evidence-generation support, including Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs), and trusted peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals, medical experts, and key opinion leaders across academic and community settings. The Associate Director will ensure field medical activities are aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and executed in accordance with Telix policies, applicable regulations, and legal and ethical standards. This role will work cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Strategy, Medical Communications, HEOR, Regulatory, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial colleagues, as appropriate and within compliance requirements, to advance Telix’s medical and clinical value in the medical community.

Requirements

Advanced scientific, healthcare, or medical degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, RN, NP, PA, or equivalent scientific/clinical experience); undergraduate degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related discipline required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in GU oncology, with demonstrated expertise in prostate and renal cancer, preferably within Medical Affairs, Field Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or a related scientific/clinical role.
Minimum 2+ years of people management experience, or equivalent leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing field medical talent.
Demonstrated experience providing direct oversight of MSL activities, including coaching, field ride-alongs, performance metrics, insight quality, compliant documentation, and execution against field medical objectives.
Experience developing and executing field medical plans, KOL engagement strategies, insight-generation processes, congress plans, advisory boards, and evidence-generation activities.
Experience supporting, assessing, or providing Medical Affairs oversight for Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs), including scientific review, investigator engagement, evidence-generation alignment, and compliant cross-functional coordination.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data in prostate cancer, renal cancer, radiopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, therapeutics, and related areas of GU oncology to internal and external stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of applicable regulations, industry guidance, compliance requirements, and practices related to field-based scientific personnel and healthcare professional interactions.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across matrixed teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Communications, Market Access, Regulatory, HEOR, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial functions, as appropriate.
Strong business acumen, strategic planning, organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and executive communication skills, with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant field medical systems, including Salesforce, CRM, and insight-reporting platforms, with the ability to develop meaningful metrics reports and dashboards.
High attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across scientific materials, reporting, documentation, and field execution.
Ability to travel up to 50% locally, regionally, and nationally as required for field coaching, KOL engagement, congresses, advisory boards, and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, coach for performance, and develop a high-performing Field MSL team with the capabilities, scientific credibility, and accountability required to support Telix’s GU oncology strategy.
Lead field medical strategy and execution for GU oncology, with emphasis on prostate and renal cancer, including KOL engagement, scientific exchange, congress coverage, advisory boards, launch readiness, lifecycle management, clinical trial support, and post-activity reporting.
Cascade medical strategy, priorities, scientific narratives, and execution expectations to the Field MSL team to ensure consistent, compliant, and strategically aligned field engagement.
Ensure the Field MSL team maintains subject matter expertise across relevant GU oncology publications, clinical trials, treatment guidelines, disease-state developments, diagnostic and therapeutic pathways, and Telix product and pipeline data.
Build and maintain trusted peer-to-peer relationships with national, regional, and local GU oncology experts, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders across academic and community settings.
Ensure balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange on Telix products, pipeline assets, prostate and renal cancer disease states, diagnostic and therapeutic pathways, clinical data, and areas of scientific interest.
Lead collection, synthesis, reporting, and communication of actionable GU oncology medical insights, research gaps, field intelligence, congress learnings, and opportunities to inform Medical Affairs strategy, clinical development, evidence generation, launch planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
Support evidence-generation and clinical trial activities, including investigator engagement, site identification, enrollment support, registries, expanded access programs, Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs), medical education grants, and research collaborations, as appropriate.
Support development and refinement of compliant medical decks, field tools, training materials, congress summaries, and internal communication materials in partnership with Medical Communications and cross-functional stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Communications, Market Access, Regulatory, HEOR, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial colleagues, as appropriate and within compliance requirements, to align strategy and field execution.
Track and communicate Field MSL performance metrics, including quality of GU oncology KOL engagement, actionable insights, scientific exchange outcomes, clinical trial support, congress impact, CRM compliance, training completion, and follow-up activities.
Provide day-to-day oversight of Field MSL execution, including territory planning, coaching, scientific readiness, CRM documentation, insight quality, compliant follow-up, and alignment of field activities with Medical Affairs priorities.
Ensure all Field MSL activities and external interactions are conducted in accordance with Telix objectives, compliance policies and procedures, applicable regulations, and legal and ethical standards
