About The Position

The Associate Director, Enterprise EOHS Delivery, Portfolio & Operations serves as a key member of the Enterprise EOHS leadership team, reporting to the Sr Director Delivery & Portfolio Management (D&PM). This role acts as an execution leader for the enterprise EOHS portfolio and organizational operations, responsible for driving portfolio execution, operational excellence, governance, and organizational effectiveness while providing strategic executive support to the VP of EOHS and ensuring successful delivery of priorities across the EOHS organization. Working across EOHS enterprise functions, EOHS technology, training, communications, finance, and other enterprise partners, this leader translates strategy into actionable plans, drives disciplined execution, and provides the structure, governance, and operating rhythm necessary to achieve Enterprise EOHS objectives. The role functions as a liaison across enterprise functions to ensure priorities are aligned, decisions are executed, communications are coordinated, and organizational operations run effectively and efficiently. Strategic operator and execution-focused leader with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy discussions and day-to-day operational execution. Ability to think and operate within and between the macro and the micro lens of the defined scope of work. Builds structure, drives accountability, and creates clarity in complex environments through data. Highly effective at influencing across organizations, aligning stakeholders, and turning priorities into measurable outcomes while fostering collaboration, discipline, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in portfolio management, program management, business operations, strategic planning, operational leadership, or enterprise delivery within a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership teams to support governance, portfolio oversight, strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale initiatives and translate strategic objectives into executable plans, measurable outcomes, and sustained operational results
  • Proven expertise in portfolio and program management, including governance frameworks, operational metrics, executive reporting, and the use of portfolio management, reporting, and collaboration tools
  • Proven ability to develop executive-level communications, presentations, dashboards, and other materials that support informed decision-making
  • Demonstrated facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, align diverse stakeholders, and drive accountability across multiple functions

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sr Director D&PM to operationalize the multi-year EOHS strategy and ensure strategic priorities are translated into executable initiatives
  • Manage execution oversight of the enterprise EOHS portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned to business priorities, regulatory requirements, risk reduction objectives, and investment commitments
  • Support alignment between strategy, portfolio planning, delivery execution, and business outcomes
  • Monitor enterprise-level risks, dependencies, resource demands, and delivery performance across strategic initiatives
  • Support strategic planning, annual objective setting, quarterly business reviews, and portfolio prioritization activities
  • Ensure leadership decisions are effectively communicated, implemented, and tracked through completion
  • Lead and maintain the EOHS portfolio management and governance framework
  • Establish sustainable intake, prioritization, planning, templates, processes, and execution practices across the organization
  • Own governance forums and executive review processes, that provide visibility into portfolio health, risks, dependencies, financials, and outcomes
  • Support development of executive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting to support informed decision-making
  • Drive accountability for portfolio commitments and delivery milestones
  • Serve as a strategic operational partner to the VP of EOHS and Enterprise EOHS leadership team, supporting executive priorities, leadership alignment, and disciplined follow-through
  • Manage leadership operating rhythms including staff meetings, leadership team meetings, business reviews, strategy sessions, and planning forums
  • Coordinate leadership agendas, briefing materials, presentations, communications, and follow-up actions to support aligned execution
  • Provide executive support for VP-level priorities by preparing briefing materials, organizing decision points, tracking commitments, and ensuring timely follow-up on key actions
  • Ensure alignment across EOHS leadership team priorities and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
  • Track organizational objectives, commitments, action items, and leadership decisions to ensure execution and accountability
  • Support organizational communications, leadership messaging, and engagement initiatives in partnership with EOHS communications and related enterprise functions
  • Anticipate organizational challenges and proactively identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, decision-making, and execution
  • Collaborate with finance and other enterprise partners to coordinate annual planning activities, budget cycles, workforce planning, and related operational processes
  • Partner with the Sr Director D&PM to track vendor contract cycles and enable timely evaluations, decisions, and renewals
  • Own the operational cadence of the Enterprise EOHS organization, ensuring effective planning, coordination, communication, and execution
  • Drive continuous improvement of organizational processes, governance practices, and operational workflows
  • Support leadership teams in establishing clear accountability, performance measures, and execution routines
  • Identify and remove barriers that impede organizational effectiveness and delivery performance
  • Ensure consistent execution and operating discipline across all EOHS functions
  • Define, measure, and report on key operational metrics/KPIs that provide visibility into operational effectiveness inclusive of AI utilization
  • Build strong working relationships across EOHS, EOHS Technology, Training, Communications, Finance, Enterprise Services, Compliance, Risk, and business partners
  • Serve as a central coordination point for strategic initiatives requiring cross-functional alignment
  • Function as a liaison to other enterprise functions, ensuring EOHS priorities are effectively connected to training, communications, technology, finance, compliance, risk, and business partner needs
