Treeline Biosciences is seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director of Toxicology to join its nonclinical development team. The role supports discovery and development programs, with a primary focus on nonclinical study oversight and toxicology. It serves as a key scientific and operational interface with external contract research organizations (CROs), taking primary responsibility for planning, executing, and monitoring nonclinical studies while ensuring scientific rigor, data quality, and alignment with program timelines and regulatory expectations. The position contributes to nonclinical regulatory dossier documentation and serves as a scientific and strategic partner to cross-functional project teams. It drives the design, execution, and interpretation of toxicology studies supporting IND-enabling and lifecycle safety assessment programs. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders, including project leaders, DMPK, regulatory affairs, and clinical development, and directly oversees external CROs conducting GLP and non-GLP toxicology studies. It is hands-on and operationally focused, requiring strong scientific judgment and the ability to keep multiple CRO-run studies on schedule, on budget, and audit-ready. The level of hire will depend on the candidate's experience, scope of responsibility, and demonstrated leadership.
