About The Position

The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination
  • DTCC SME experience in Equity Clearing applications ( CNS, SFT, CAD, CNR, BIN, CLS) and supports End to End Testing of ECS Modernization projects
  • Knowledge of Databases and SQL preferred.
  • Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing and End-to-End Testing
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing.
  • Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery processes and tools, such as Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
  • Expert and hands on with backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing. JDBC/JPA for database testing (Oracle/ DB2/ Snowflake).
  • Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, and executing end-to-end test scenarios / cases for every prod go-live release of Modernization Initiatives ensuring extensive test coverage of critical business end to end flows with all upstream & downstream touch points.
  • Responsible to aligned at least one or more Modernization initiatives to understand business requirements, fully immersed in application functionality, release scope, and system integration specifics.
  • Work to identify & resolve defects and improve the overall software testing process.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) processes.
  • Stay current with new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Understand and apply industry-specific best practices & standards.
  • Understand and articulate the business and the value adds.
  • Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results.
  • Responsible for Project Coordination and Technical Management tasks
