About The Position

The Associate Director, Clinical Scientist plays a key role in executing clinical development programs. The role partners with Medical Directors and cross-functional study teams to support clinical data review and interpretation, study documentation, and communication of findings. It is a hands-on position for an experienced Clinical Scientist who can work independently, identify and escalate meaningful clinical findings, and collaborate across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and other functions. The position may be performed in a flexible hybrid or remote arrangement within approved U.S. working locations. Up to 20% business travel may be required.

Requirements

PhD or equivalent degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's or master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience.
Relevant experience must include pharmaceutical industry experience in clinical drug or biologics development.
Experience as a Clinical Scientist or in a comparable clinical development role, with the ability to work independently.
Hands-on experience reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical trial data.
Strong cross-functional collaboration, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting Phase I–III clinical development programs.
Clinical development experience in oncology and/or neurology.
Rare disease experience.

Responsibilities

Lead ongoing clinical data review to support data quality, interpretation, and patient safety.
Identify and escalate clinically relevant findings and partner with study teams to resolve data-related issues.
Collaborate with Data Management and Clinical Operations on study implementation and EDC development.
Contribute to the development and review of clinical documents, including study protocols, investigator brochures, regulatory documents, concept materials, and other study-related documentation.
Review and interpret clinical study data and outputs in partnership with Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and other stakeholders.
Represent Clinical Development on cross-functional study teams and work closely with Medical Directors and other functional partners.
Prepare and present clinical data, study designs, and scientific information for study teams, investigator meetings, advisory boards, study committees, and other internal or external audiences.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
