About The Position

The Associate Director of Civic Engagement oversees current and new co-curricular civic engagement programs of the Bentley Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE). This includes being the main BSLCE staff member overseeing our essential Student Committee Structure (which has 7 committees, with approx. 30 students) to move forward the Center’s 1) Civic Events; 2) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice work; and 3) Social Entrepreneurship crossover work with the new Bentley Social Innovation Incubator. The Associate Director of Civic Engagement is also charged with playing a lead role in overseeing BSLCE’s social media presence (currently Instagram and LinkedIn) and 24/7 Television. As well, this person will play a lead role as we consider expanding our alternative break trip programs.
