The Center for Faculty Development & Advancement (CFDA) is seeking a visionary Associate Director (AD) who is passionate about empowering faculty and shaping the future of academic life at CU Denver. This is an exciting opportunity for a campus leader who thrives on building community, designing innovative development experiences, and helping colleagues unleash their full potential. In this role, you will directly influence the faculty experience—strengthening pathways for growth, fostering belonging, and creating the kind of campus environment where faculty excel, connect, and thrive. Working closely with the Director, the AD will co-create impactful initiatives for faculty across the Denver campus. Key areas of focus include developing tailored mentorship programs, building professional learning—especially for IRC faculty—and supporting the Center’s core programming. This position may also lead interactive workshops (virtual and in person), host topic-based faculty communities, assist faculty with career and dossier development, and engage in a wide range of activities that foster growth, belonging, and excellence. In partnership with the Director, the AD will lead, design, and deliver programs that support faculty of all ranks and disciplines.
