About The Position

This role involves providing ongoing operational support for the Aladdin infrastructure production environment, ensuring high availability for batch and interactive applications. The position also includes managing pre-production environments and developer support during US hours, identifying and implementing process improvements, performing root cause analysis and system performance diagnostics, collaborating with development teams to debug applications, and communicating effectively during incidents. Additionally, the role will focus on building opportunities to integrate and automate operational processes, assisting with onboarding new technologies, and managing application changes and production releases across Cloud Native Platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst, Consultant or a related role.
Two (2) years of experience with Linux system operations including filesystem navigation, resource monitoring, log analysis, and process and service control using core administrative commands.
Two (2) years of experience with System administration including OS‑level diagnostics, service orchestration, performance tuning, and end‑to‑end environment maintenance across Linux‑based infrastructures.
Two (2) years of experience with Programming experience in Java, Python, Perl and shell scripting.
Two (2) years of experience with Cloud Native Platforms including Azure, AWS and GCP.
Two (2) years of experience with Automation and configuration tools including Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins.
Two (2) years of experience with Orchestration and monitoring tools including Kafka, Kubernetes, Grafana and Prometheus.
Two (2) years of experience with Alert handing automation tools including AWX and Drools.
Two (2) years of experience with Enterprise tools including ServiceNow, Cutover and Autosys.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing operational support for the Aladdin infrastructure production environment, ensuring high availability for batch and interactive applications using tools like Autosys, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Manage pre-production environments and developer support during US hours, leveraging Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python, Perl).
Identify and implement process improvements for pre-production support, releases, production syncs, and environment stability using ServiceNow, Cutover, and automation frameworks like Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins.
Perform root cause analysis and system performance diagnostics using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
Collaborate with development teams and application owners to debug applications written in Java, Python, or Perl.
Communicate clearly and effectively during incident bridges and calls, ensuring distributed teams are informed.
Build opportunities to integrate and automate operational processes using tools like AWX and Drools for alert handling.
Assist with onboarding new technologies, proof-of-concept build-out, and disaster recovery testing and planning.
Work with internal development groups to manage application changes and production releases across Cloud Native Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
