About The Position

Cantor Fitzgerald Technology Markets, LLC is seeking an Associate, Developer to implement new features, improve performance of existing applications, and design/implement new processes and applications. This role involves integrating cloud-based/SaaS solutions, following industry standard practices for testing, source control, and deployment, and designing application infrastructure for failover and disaster recovery. The developer will also evaluate new technologies, document processes, test and deploy applications, and support FIX Connectivity setup. Additionally, they will develop rich User Interface (UI) applications for desktop and web deployment and observe user feedback for software improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a software developer role within the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Django, React, JavaScript, Python, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Freemarker, Selenium, Cron Jobs, Spring Scheduler, Keycloak IAM, LDAP, Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), Redis, Guava Cache, Parallel Processing, Spring Performance Libraries, REST APIs, Microservices, Data Lineage, Data Governance, AWS S3, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum.
  • Experience with Unit Testing, QA Automation, Automation, System Design, Performance Optimization, Enterprise Integration, Reporting Pipelines, Stress-testing workflows, Legacy System Migration and Process Optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing new features and improving performance of existing applications.
  • Design and implement new processes and applications.

  • Follow industry standard practices for unit testing, source control, and deployment.
  • Design and manage application infrastructure to support failover and disaster recovery.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies and their suitability for Risk Technology applications.
  • Document processes for internal and regulatory reviews.
  • Test and deploy applications.
  • Observe and document user feedback to improve software.
  • Support FIX Connectivity set up and certification of new sessions and gateways.
  • Develop rich User Interface (UI) applications for both desktop and web deployment.
