About The Position

At TD Securities, technology plays a critical role in enabling data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities across our Global Research business. We are looking for a Developer based in New York to help deliver scalable, modern solutions that support colleagues and stakeholders across multiple regions. This is an opportunity to be a part of a high-impact engineering team while working in close partnership with global peers in key locations including Toronto, New York, Dublin and India. The CRM Technology team is responsible for delivering and supporting strategic CRM platforms and client intelligence capabilities used across Research and Capital Markets. The team develops and supports CRM applications, data integrations, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve client relationship management, business workflows, and decision-making. We are seeking a Developer with experience in AI, data engineering, and application development to support the ongoing evolution of our CRM Technology platform. This execution-focused role will help build and support application integrations, AI-enabled solutions and analytics capabilities that deliver business value across Research and Capital Markets. The successful candidate will work alongside senior developers, business systems analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and innovative solutions leveraging Java, React, Python, SQL, Databricks, cloud technologies, and modern AI capabilities.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technology roles.
Hands-on experience with Python, Java and SQL.
Experience developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation logic.
Experience developing APIs, integrations, or application components using Python, Java, or related technologies.
Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and data quality principles.
Familiarity with CI/CD, source control, testing, monitoring, and deployment best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CRM platforms such as Prism, Salesforce or similar solutions.
Exposure to AI and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, document automation, intelligent search, or workflow automation.
Experience working with unstructured data, knowledge management, or document processing solutions.
Exposure to Java, React, API development, or full-stack application development.
Experience within Capital Markets, Research, Banking, Sales & Trading, CRM, client intelligence, revenue management, or market data domains.
Passion for learning new technologies and applying AI and data solutions to solve business problems.

Responsibilities

Build APIs, services, and application components that integrate CRM platforms with enterprise systems and data sources.
Collaborate with developers, BSAs, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions.
Support CI/CD, automated deployment, monitoring, testing, and operational support of data and application workloads.
Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support development of AI-powered capabilities including intelligent search, document processing, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval solutions.
Contribute to CRM analytics, client intelligence, reporting, and AI enablement initiatives through the delivery of trusted and reusable technology and data assets.
