About The Position

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Associate Designer - Headwear assists in creating industry-leading headwear designs that are on brief, on trend, on time, and embody '47 brand DNA and maximize market opportunities.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of relevant market headwear style trends.
• Possesses a basic understanding of one or some of the following: headwear manufacturing, graphic design, industrial design, embroidery, fabrics.
• Basic working knowledge of relevant design software.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-2 Years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Assists Senior Designers in creating and producing new headwear designs that align to larger '47 Brand product creative direction with supervision from Design leadership.
• Support senior designers by executing segmented design tasks, concept research.
• Works to develop an understanding of company processes as they relate to the creation and production of product.
• Able to manage own workload with assistance from Design Manager
• Works to develop a relationship with cross functional partners.
• Able to present work confidently at internal reviews and critiques
