About The Position

Gupta Media is seeking an exceptional Associate Design Director with deep expertise and strong creative instincts to transform ideas into standout work across various platforms including digital ads, billboards, web, video, print, and social media. This is a hands-on design role focused on the craft of motion and visual design, tackling complex creative challenges, developing strong concepts, and executing at a high level to set the standard for design at Gupta Media. The role also involves leadership, working with the Design Director to build team capabilities, provide creative direction and feedback, share expertise, and mentor designers. The Associate Design Director will also engage directly with clients and integrated teams, bringing clarity and confidence to the creative process.

Requirements

Exceptional visual and motion design skills backed by 8+ years of agency or similar fast-paced creative experience.
A portfolio that demonstrates a diverse mix of motion, visual storytelling, typography, composition, and craft.
Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects.
Setting the technical standard for the team, ensuring best practices on how the team approaches and executes creative work.
Strong creative judgement and client-facing skills, with the ability to understand business goals, present creative concepts, incorporate feedback, and navigate different opinions with confidence.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for at least 3 years.

Nice To Haves

Additional experience in Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, and/or Blender a bonus.
