Design Assurance Engineers are responsible for undertaking National Grid BP141 design assurance roles on a variety of National Grid projects. This role ensures that designs for a variety of installations, asset replacements, connection schemes and substation builds comply with National Grid technical specifications, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The successful candidate will have suitable technical expertise and already undertake other relevant roles e.g. Contractor Design Approval Engineer, Principal Engineer, BP141 authorised in other disciplines and have experience of the UK Electricity Transmission and/or Distribution System and be willing to progress into formal Design Assurance Disciplines.
