About The Position

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Design & Analysis Engineer to become part of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Aeronautical Systems Integration & Test (ASIT) team in Berkeley, MO. You will enable the ASIT organization to continue to advance its technologies in support of our Air Dominance, Phantom Works & Weapons programs. The team is responsible for developing integration test assets, real-time software test environments, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in simulation lab environment. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation.

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, qualifying electrical/electronic systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital tool
  • Experience preparing test plans, schedules and documentation
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or real-time operating test systems
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Designs hardware, software and interface specifications
  • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
