About The Position

Select Dental Management (SDM) is seeking a patient-focused Associate Dentist for Family Dental Associates in Rutland, VT. This role offers the autonomy of private practice supported by SDM's operational, educational, and mentorship resources. Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license and DEA registration (as required).
• 3-5 years of proven proficiency in general dentistry, cosmetic and restorative procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• GPR or AEGD preferred.
• Endodontic, surgical and cosmetic dentistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive general, cosmetic and restorative dental care—with a focus on patient comfort, education and outcomes.
• Perform thorough examinations, diagnose conditions and create clear, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and operational partners for seamless, high-quality care.
• Leverage digital tools such as digital x-rays, CBCT and iTero to support accurate diagnosis and patient communication.
• Engage in continuing professional development through SDM’s clinician network and learning resources.
• Contribute to a team culture built on respect, integrity and growth.
